[Mail Room] Will a triple head Blinder HP-905 work against Trucam in Brazil?

Posted on March 13, 2014 at 8:00 PM

"Hello! My name is Andre and I live in Brazil. Police is now using laser guns here... We get tickets for driving 10% over 80km/h (about 50mph) on the highways and I would lie your advice to avoid them. I found nothing here. Appartently you are using this technology for a long time. There are several products on the internet and I liked your reviews because you don’t seem to take sides! The Police seems to be using Trucam guns (please take a look and you will know what is the best for me):

My car is a regular VW Passat. I am not a speeder, but if you drive at 50 as they say, you are most likely going to blow up your engine or your patience! I have a friend going to the US soon and I will have him buying a good laser jammer and radar detector for me and bring them down - I hope he will not have problems at customs, as this equipment looks like a regular internet router! As far as I can see, the HP905 Triple should do the trick. Please advise your comments. Thanks a lot!"

Hello Andre,

The TruCam has been out for a long time and it's easily jammed by the following laser jammers in your country.  Many mfc's use regional firmware so be sure you have the correct firm when ordering from your authorized dealer.

Blinder HP-905 - Yes (Two answer your question, Yes, the triple head will be great for your car.  Mount one head over the plate and mount the others close to the headlights.)

Laser Intercerptor - Yes

Antilaser ALG9 - Yes

Antilaser Priorityn - Yes

Laser Elite - Yes

Laser Star Pro - Yes

Escort Laser ShifterPro - Yes

Escort ZR4 Laser shifter - Probably not since it was discovered that it can't jam the Truspeed S

Other white-box laser jammers can jam the Trucam, but distribution sources for these units are unreliable at this time and shipping is slow.  Stock with any of the units I listed above with exception to the ZR4.

Let me know if you have any other questions,
