The LE-30 by Lidatek was the last production model before the company was sold. Their company website no longer works and the rumor was Lidatek was going to come out with a new laser jammer, possibly the LE-40? Who knows. Lidatek first manufactured the prized LE-10 and was also the first patented laser jammer for civilian use. The original model was a class III laser that utilized a gallium diode. The LE-30 on the other hand is a class I(b) device and comes with two transponders, just like the older LE-20 that came after the LE-10/Target LE850 . On many websites you'll find Target and Lidatek used in the same sentence to describe a particular model. This is because Lidatek licensed out the patented technology to Target Automotive. The two companies have since split up. Target is still in business to this day.
The Laser Echo LE-30 had an MSRP of $599.99 when it was still manufactured in Woodinville, WA USA. The only place that still has stock is mobile center in the UK. They have an auction up right now and also offer repair service if the unit fails.
Unlike other diode jammers currently produced today, the LE-30 has generic jamming algorithms for guns 'not recognized.' Keep in mind this unit is a few years old from the time it was manufactured, but don't freak out too much. Lidatek was a smart company back then and planned for new lidar guns not even invented yet. I wish they still existed :-( One thing is for sure...the LE-30 alerts to the LTI Truspeed. I know this for a fact.
A price tag of $499.99 is ridiculously high in my opinion. If you can talk the dealer into a $200.00 selling price I'd say go for it. The original dealer cost was around $400.00(or less) for a dual head unit. Use that as a bargaining chip ;-)
You can snatch up this new jammer by clicking here.
Happy laser jammer hunting!

This is a used and way overpriced ProLaser II. The maximum a PL2 should sell for is around $700 and even that's a little pricey for what you get. This gun has been replaced by police departments for years. It's no longer manufactured by Kustom Signals, however it's still IACP approved for traffic enforcement. I doubt you'll get a certificate of accuracy for this unit. The PL2's power supply is via a coiled cord. A cordless option was first introduced with the ProLaser III. How much different is the PL2 compared to the original ProLaser? The original model didn't show a speed in the HUD unless you targeted the vehicle for at least 5 seconds. Do you know how long that is in the real world? A car will pass you by in 5 seconds if you're targeting close range. The PL2 doesn't come with this annoying requirement. THANK GOD. The original ProLaser was also taken off the IACP approved list. You will never see that gun used by police officers anymore.
From the seller:
"UNIT HAS BEEN ROAD TESTED WITH GOOD RANGE. Lidar GUN IS USED and very clean. Includes owners manual on CD and manufacturer carry case. LAST CAL DATE WAS 09/24/2007."
My precious! This used laser gun is still in production by Laser Technology and retails in the range of $2,998.00 to as much as $3395.00. Buy this unit in Canada and you'll pay a ridiculous price(right Alex? ;-) You'll find this model in the hands of thousands of LIDAR equipped traffic patrols all over the world. Equip your department or test your laser jammer. The Ultralyte LRB came after the 100 LR series because officers were complaining about the 100's confusing menu. The LRB simplifies the menu with less clicking. I'll leave the cop jokes out...
This model will fire either 100 or 125 infrared 904nm pulses per second. Be sure to ask the seller if the speed displays in MPH or KPH. This LIDAR gun is easily jammed by most brands.
From the seller:
"The unit is in good shape with normal wear and tear (see pictures or contact me for more pictures). It works excellent for speed and distance measurement, very accurate and precise. It comes with tripod-mount (!) and a serial-data-cable(!). The units of measurment are km/h (speed) and meter (range). It can be changed by firmware update (contact Laser Technology Inc. for the price). I'll ship to everywhere in the world, but the buyer has to pay the shippment. You can calculate the shippment for your own. The size is: 34x34x12 cm (13.5x13.5x 4.8 in.) and the weight will be 2.8 kg (6.2 lbs). I would prefer DHL (also UPS, FedEx.. are possible), but keep in mind, that with DHL the maximun insurrance covers only 500 Euro (only USA, Canada and PR China).
Due to the fact, that I'm living in the EU (European Union) I'm a non-commercial seller and I didn't take the item back, I didn't give any warranty and I'm not responsible for any duties or custom fees that your country may charge you. Delays in customs or shipping is not my responsibility. To avoid problems, insurrance for shipping is required. By bidding you accept all this rules. I only ship to the buyers address on the paypal receipt...no where else... For further questions, please contact me. Thanks"
A while back Escort was liquidating all their ZR3 Shifter stock for only $250.00(blog post here.) The newest ZR4 model fixes the Laser Atlanta stealth mode countermeasure. The outdated ZR3 can't detect or jam the highly marketed 'double pulse' rate by LA that's advertised to defeat laser jammers. Laser Atlanta's ingenious engineering was effective at the time, but now this special pulse rate is obsolete and easily jammed by almost every brand of diffuser on the market. This older LED Shifter has problems with the SpeedLaser and Stalker LIDAR, BUT it does jam the famous USA 200.3 Hz Truspeed. Use this jammer as a back up only(in my opinion.) I'm on the fence if I'd recommend this unit for $225.00. If it was selling for $180.00 I'd say snatch it up. One thing is for sure...Ebay will pull this auction quickly. Jammers are a policy violation.
A few words from the seller:
"I purchased this Laser Shifter directly from Escort about3 months ago to put on my Corvette. I never got around to installing this great product and in turn sold my Corvette as well. I now dont have a car that is worth putting it on. This laser shifter is new still in plastic and comes with a one year factory warranty. I will include original receipt so you have proof of purchase for warranty info" *The Ebay seller's typos weren't edited of course.*
*Warning: Escort doesn't honor warranties on products purchased off the auction site!*
I was amazed to see how many Vascar Plus systems are on Ebay right now. Of all the speed enforcement tools out there, Vascar is the most deadly system feared by Speeders because it's completely undetectable. These timing devices don't emit radar or laser. They're simply a fancy stopwatch that displays a speed. Most LIDAR guns like the Kustom ProLite Plus and Stalker have a 'timing mode.' On a laser gun equipped with timing mode, the officer will shoot two reference points on a road. The two reference points generate a distance the car travels over. As soon as the car passes the first reference point the officer begins the countdown by pressing a button. Once the motorist passes the second reference point the unit is pressed again and an average time over distance speed is displayed. New Vascar Plus units can be purchased from Traffic Safety Systems Inc, in Virginia.
A few words from the seller:
"You are bidding on a Vascar Plus Speed Measuring Device. It is used and show some wear. It is in good working condition. I have sold several of these units and all of my customers with happy with it. I have several units available. Please let me know if you interested in more than one. If you are not happy with your auction item for any reason, please feel free and return it for a full refund. If you are not happy, we are not happy."
The manufacturer's website can be found here http://www.vascarplus.com/Pages/Company_profile.htm. The listing for this used system is here.

When I was younger I wanted to be a police officer and used to do ride alongs with my local sherrifs department. For the benefit of the community I decided NOT to pursue my dream because my sense of direction is horrible. Do you know of anyone that can get lost in a parking lot? Well now you do lol.
Anyway...the Python radar units were standard equipment in the patrol cars. I remember asking the officer what he thought of them. "They're a piece of sh!t Chris. The range on these are are terrible." The officer was referring to the first generation Python, not the second generation listed to my right. So if you plan on buying this unit for $300.00 don't blame me if the range is bad! I warned you! MPH Industries is a pioneer in radar traffic enforement. Just recently they signed a partnership deal with Laser Atlanta to carry 3 SpeedLaser models. Brand new Python's can be purchased here. The used one is listed here.
A few words from 'misc. electronics' about his K band unit.
"This is an excellent little K-Band Radar system with outstanding range and high quality display and audio. The display is the best I've seen in direct sunlight and it auto dims at night via the photocell sensor. THIS DOES NOT COME WITH ANTENNAS CABLES OR A REMOTE.
Included in this auction is everything pictured:
This auction ends august 11th, 2009. The Bel LaserPro 904/905 is an outdated laser jammer, however it would serve as a good 'starter kit' for people just getting into the jammer industry. I personally wouldn't spend more than $75.00 on this system. The seller is unverified by LaserJammerTests. Use caution when buying anything on Ebay. Ebay also has an anti-laser jammer policy. They claim laser jammers are illegal according to the FCC, therefore items of this nature are frequently taken off the auction site. Click here to view the item.
A few words from the seller:
"I want to make clear that this is not a brand-new item, although it has never been used. I bought it in 2004 with the intention of mounting it on my car, but never did. I opened the box to make sure everything was there, but never made it any further. Now, I am moing to Virginia where detectors/jammers of all types are illegal and definately won't be installing it. I pulled the info from the web, feel free to do your own research. This seemed to be a really good product at a good price when I bought it, and from what I can tell, since the lasers operate in the same band as they did when the 904 was designed, it should be just as effective today. Now, I'm offering it to the community for someone who would like to have it at a huge savings."
This used LIDAR gun is still on the IACP approved list for operation. It's known to be one of the hardest guns to jam because of it's fine optics.
Words from the seller:
"Up for Sale is a in Used condition fully functional Police Lidar Laser Speed gun. This Kustom ProlaserII Lidar is totally functional, the HUD "head's up display" is totally functional, the doppler audio board is totally functional. This Lidar is in KPH Calabration. Seller pay's for shipping, and insurance fee's if desired. There will be no refunds, it is in the sellers best interest to place the 7 dollars worth of insurance which equates to 700.00 dollars of insurance on the gun, as I will not be held responsible it unit is DOA due to the postal service. The unit is going to be packed appropriately Very snugly, in very soft material. It will leave my hand's in full functional condition. If it is received DOA that is the postal services fault, and you shall have to take that up with them, and be rembursed in that manner through your 7 dollars of insurance."
