You're on a car forum and it's obvious who the fan boys are in the Laser Interceptor camp and who are in love with the Antilaser Priority. I'm not a member of any of those forums, nor do I sell either system. You want to know from an unbiased source which one you'd go with. My official answer is Antilaser Priority over Laser Interceptor any day of the week, especially since LI 8.15 raised prices to $699. I actually think Laser Interceptor is now one of the worst jammer...Read Full Post »

A couple firmwares came out recently on two different brands and guess how they did?
Laser Interceptor finally came out with firmware 8.15 and guess what? It failed against DragonEye Compact.
Blinder HP-905 came out with firmware FW. 14.02.01 and it also failed against the same gun.

"Hello! My name is Andre and I live in Brazil. Police is now using laser guns here... We get tickets for driving 10% over 80km/h (about 50mph) on the highways and I would lie your advice to avoid them. I found nothing here. Appartently you are using this technology for a long time. There are several products on the internet and I liked your reviews because you don’t seem to take sides! The Police seems to be using Trucam guns (please take a look and you will know wha...Read Full Post »

I was finally able to sit down for a few hours to knock out my latest review of the K40 Laser Defuser G5. The unit was tested lab style with an infrared camera and also road tested. The G5 performed better than expected and is actually the first laser jammer on the market to alert to all VPR guns in my tests. The most surprising part of my test was how the G5 could detect and jam the Truspeed S, however in the same lab style test you could see how the ZR4 completely fa...Read Full Post »

My newest Valentine One with Savvy just showed up. Everything was packaged super tight as usual. I ran to my room to get the Truspeed S and DragonEye Compact. My preliminary test results with other detectors laser detection have been pretty surprising, but not so with the V1. Mike's magnesium shelled bogey searcher successfully alerted to the variable pulse rate mode, it's fixed pulse rate mode, and alerted to the Truspeed S as well without any problems. To date ...Read Full Post »

A certain group of individuals that are apart of a radar forum made a FAKE video of the Laser Technology LTI Truspeed S being jammed by the Escort ZR4 Laser Shifter. I want to reach out to that group publically and allow them to come clean about their fraudulent test. Maybe they made the video because Escort Inc is a "preferred vendor" on there site? In any case I'm giving this group a couple of days to email me an explanation of why they made this fake test because I will p...Read Full Post »

Preliminary bench testing results of the Laser Interceptor 8.14 Firmware against the DragonEye Compact:
Non-ECCM mode - Laser Interceptor alerts to the pulse rate
ECCM mode enabled(anti-jam mode) - Laser Interceptor FAILS to alert to variable pulse rate.
What does this mean to the laser jammer community? It's now 12/11/13 and the latest firmware doesn't even recognize the anti-jam pulse rate from the DragonEye Compact. You won't get a beep, a siren, or "unk...Read Full Post »

If it quacks like a duck it's probably a duck.
Rumors and speculation have flooded forums about the new Escort Laser ShifterPro. The Escort press release and CES review has limited content that hardcore enthusiasts and testers can really bite. The most common question is, "Is the Escort Laser ShifterPro" a private label or licensed reproduction of the current Laser Interceptor?" Nobody is admitting anything and really they don't have to because Escort and Laser Interce...Read Full Post »

Do you have an older laser jammer that didn't alert or jam while you were driving on Interstate 5 or I-90 in Washington? Chances are you were hit by the Washington State Patrol's new addition, the LTI Truspeed S LIDAR with anti-jam software. The WSP also added the Kustom Signals Prolaser 4, but that gun is still jammable with older system software. If you need a laser jammer that can combat the Truspeed S you'll need one of the following units:
Blinder HP 905, Laser El...Read Full Post »

Scott Patterson, CEO of DragonEye Technology, LLC, wrote the following to me 4/16/13.
"Don't know for sure but I believe a lot of these "testers" were using Laser Ally / DragonEye units with commercial (non law enforcement grade) software. Units sold for known non-law enforcement applications don't get the fully certified law enforcement software. Spe...Read Full Post »

Does the Laser Elite jam the new Variable Pulse Rate guns like the Truspeed S and LaserAlly guns? Yes....for a long time now.
A couple days ago a confused consumer asked me why a certain website said the Laser Elite was obsolete along with some other untruths. I thought this was strange considering the Laser Elite LE-X2, LE-X3, LE-X4, & LE-X1 jams all the latest laser guns, including all the VPR guns made today. This consum...Read Full Post »

Even though Rocky Mountain Radar Scrambers/Jammers don't work, the lawmakers in Iowa passed laws that banned radar jamming devices. Jamming police radar guns is already a Federal offence in all 50 states. Trust me when I say none of those so called radar scamblers don't work. Iowa isn't stopping at radar because laser defense is now on the attack. A bill passed by the House made it out of a Senate subcommittee with an amendment. Manufacturers of laser jammers don...Read Full Post »

Big news in the laser jammer industry for March 2013.
Stalker announced the release of the new "X-Series" LIDAR guns. These new LIDAR guns are extremely light and small. The aluminum housing has been replaced with a polycarbonate shell, effectively eliminating the fatigue brought on by other laser guns using metal housings. I can speak from experience that the first, second, and third generation Stalker LIDAR units(most recently the Stalker LR) were quite having, especially when you com...Read Full Post »

No but seriously this is a great news article. A woman was pulled over by a Maryland State Trooper because she was 'impeding the flow of traffic." MSP you are my hero!!! It's almost here.
For years all of us have been begging Blinder Denmark and Blinder USA to make a jammer that falls within the same class as the Interceptor and Laser Elite. I have on good authority that the Blinder performs the best when compared to all jammers, including the Laser Interceptor. As soon as the jammer is made available to the public I will purchase the unit and test it out. It's my understanding this new diode jammer destroys Laser Interceptor in a head...Read Full Post »

When Laser Ally first came out Laser Interceptor could not 'see' or jam the gun. Laser Interceptor has generic jamming and in most cases this special algo will do fine against fixed pulse rate guns. For example when the Truspeed first came out at 200.3PPS LI's generic algo had no problem jamming it from the beginning. We now know the pulse rate of the LaserAlly is VPR, meaning it's a Variable Pulse Rate gun. The word on the street was Laser Interceptor was successful i...Read Full Post »

If you keep up with my site you'll know I like to post patents of new products, etc. Kustom Signals finally put the PL4 on there website, a LIDAR gun that looks like it's made to take names(kinda like the Laser Ally.) The Kustom Prolaser 4 is touted to have a faster processor, a smaller beam width(2.5 milirads), a comfortable pistol grip, and a range of 8000 feet! Many laser jammer hobbyists believed the Prolaser IV wouldn't come out until an anti-jam software was released w...Read Full Post »
